Scrap material control procedure

During warehouse operations, if there is any occurrence of damaged or expired goods that have lost their utility value and need to be reduced from inventory, the Scrap Material Control procedure will be employed.
Step 1: Navigate to the Operations section, then click on the Scrap subsection.
Step 2: Press Create to initiate the creation of a new inventory inspection form.
Step 3: Enter the scrap details
- Product: Enter the name of the scrap product here.
- Quantity: Enter the quantity of defective items.
- Source Location: Choose a pre-configured source location.
- Scrap Location: Select the location to transfer this scrap.
- Source Document: Enter the original document number.
Step 4: Press Validate to finalize the process.
- Note: In the case of goods receipt forms, goods issue forms, and internal transfers, warehouse staff also have the option to categorize items as scrap materials.

When selecting scrap material on the inventory form, the system will display an interface to choose the product to be placed in the scrap location (which is the designated location for storing scrap items).
